During the COVID-19 pandemic period, Green Stays is committed to minimizing the risks of spreading the virus, taking all necessary preventive measures.

Although Green Stays does not have physical facilities to receive customers and partners, it must always ensure compliance with the necessary information, hygiene and distance measures, which are identified in the following points of this Protocol.

PREVENTION PROCEDURES

Information

  • Green Stays ensures that all customers and business partners are aware of and have access to this Internal Protocol regarding the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak, through its website, and whenever a tour starts.
  • Green Stays provides its customers and partners with information on how to comply with basic infection prevention and control precautions in relation to the COVID-19 coronavirus outbreak.

Hygiene plan

  • The surfaces where employees work are washed and disinfected, ensuring control and prevention of infections and resistance to antimicrobials.
  • Wet cleaning is preferred over dry cleaning and vacuuming.
    Whenever cleaning occurs, the Hygienization and Cleaning registration is completed (see attached form).
  • Air renewal of enclosed spaces is carried out regularly.
    Hygiene equipment

Whenever applicable and necessary, Green Stays will provide:

  • Dispensers of alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution.
  • Waste container with non-manual opening and plastic bag.
  • In the sanitary facilities equipment for washing hands with liquid soap and paper towels.

GREEN STAYS AND ITS PARTNERS

Compliance with internal hygiene and safety protocols by partners involved in the activities.

Hotel stays

All Green Stays hotel partners must ensure:

  1. Sufficient personal protective equipment for all workers.
  2. Personal protective equipment available to customers (maximum capacity of the establishment).
  3. Stock of single-use cleaning materials proportional to their dimensions, including single-use cleaning wipes moistened with disinfectant, bleach and alcohol at 70º.
  4. Dispensers of alcohol-based antiseptic solution or alcohol-based solution near the entry / exit points, and whenever applicable by floor, at the entrance to restaurants, Wine bar and common sanitary facilities.
  5. Waste container with non-manual opening and plastic bag.
  6. Place to isolate people that can be detected as suspected or confirmed cases of COVID-19, which should preferably have natural ventilation, or mechanical ventilation system, and have smooth and washable coverings, bathroom, stock of cleaning materials, masks surgical gloves and disposable gloves, thermometer, autonomous waste container, waste bags, used clothes collection bags, kit with water and some non-perishable foods.
  7. In the sanitary facilities equipment for washing hands with liquid soap and paper towels.

Tours with Green Stays ambassadors

In tours, the following conditions must always be ensured:

  1. The maximum occupancy per m2 recommended by the General Health Directorate, if they are activities developed in closed spaces.
  2. The maintenance of the social safety distance between the participants in the activities, according to the recommendations of the General Health Directorate.
  3. The maximum occupation of the means of transport used in the activities, according to the recommendations of the General Health Directorate.
  4. The distribution of information, within the scope of the activity, preferably in digital / online support.
  5. Compliance with internal hygiene and safety protocols by partners involved in the activities.
  6. There is always a collaborator at the service responsible for triggering the procedures in case of suspected infection (accompanying the person with symptoms to the isolation space, providing the necessary assistance and contacting the national health service).
  7. The decontamination of the isolation area whenever there are positive cases of infection and reinforcement of cleaning and disinfection whenever there are patients suspected of being infected, especially on surfaces frequently handled and most used by the same, as indicated by DGS.
  8. The storage of waste produced by patients suspected of infection in a plastic bag that, after being closed (eg with a clamp), must be segregated and sent to a licensed operator for the management of hospital waste with biological risk.

PROCEDURES IN CASE OF SUSPECTED INFECTION

Action plan

  • The responsible employee must accompany the suspect of infection to the isolation space, provide the necessary assistance and contact the National Health Service.
  • Storage of waste produced by patients suspected of infection in a plastic bag that, after being closed (eg with a clamp), must be segregated and sent to a licensed operator for the management of hospital waste with biological risk.
