Environmental sustainability is a fundamental and active part of NEYA Lisboa Hotel, where the implementation of efficient and environmentally friendly practices contributes to the reduction of its ecological footprint. It already has “Zero Carbon” certification, with the calculation and compensation of carbon emissions of the Hotel.
In NEYA Lisboa Hotel we can find measures that include energy efficiency to waste management, responsible choices of materials, equipment and consumables among other practices such as the preference for local, fresh and seasonal products used in Viva Lisboa Restaurant. The use of solar panels for water heating, the application of flow reducers on all taps, the use of predominantly LED lighting and the use of FSC certified recycled paper are examples of excellent environmental practices that contribute to a more sustainable tourism. In addition, it has a 100% renewable energy supply, follows the “Plastic Free” programme and has a signature of the Lisbon Business Mobility Pact.
